As Contentsquare continues to expand its data ecosystem capabilities, we are looking for a Analytics Engineer Consultant to join our Professional Services team. This is a newly created role designed to bridge the gap between advanced data engineering and client-facing consulting excellence.
You will be the go-to expert for our most technically demanding client engagements, with a specific focus on DataConnect, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and data architecture topics. Beyond delivering high-impact missions, you will play a key role in upskilling the broader Professional Services team on these emerging capabilities.What You'll Do

Lead end-to-end delivery of technically complex client engagements, from discovery and scoping through to value demonstration

Independently scope client needs, anticipate gaps, and define clear objectives for standard and complex data architecture projects

Manage client communications proactively, including status updates, next steps, and risk escalation

Present confidently to senior client stakeholders, answer technical questions accurately, and articulate the value of Contentsquare's data solutions

Provide actionable, well-reasoned recommendations tailored to client priorities and data maturity

Proactively manage scope, identify upsell and expansion signals, and collaborate with Customer Success and Sales

Design and deliver client implementations around DataConnect and MCP (Model Context Protocol), establishing this as a new practice within the PS team

Advise clients on best practices for data in/out flows, API integrations, and platform connectivity

Help clients leverage Contentsquare data within their broader AI and data stack

Architect and implement data solutions leveraging Snowflake, BigQuery, and other modern cloud data warehouses

Design and manage data pipelines, cloud storage integrations (AWS S3, GCS), and data flow patterns

Build and deliver BI and analytics solutions using Tableau and comparable tools

Advise clients on data hygiene, account readiness, and setting up a reliable data foundation for insights

Apply knowledge of AI and LLM frameworks, including MCP, to client delivery and solution design

Stay ahead of the curve on AI-driven analytics and help clients understand how to operationalize AI within their data ecosystem

Evaluate and guide clients on beta features and emerging Contentsquare capabilities

Act as the internal subject matter expert on data architecture, MCP, and DataConnect topics

Create reusable assets, templates, playbooks, and documentation that improve team efficiency and consistency

Actively mentor and upskill PS team members on technical and data topics

Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to solve complex client problems and feed insights back into the roadmap

Maintain clean and accurate project tracking (Rocketlane or equivalent)

Proactively organize shared folders, deliverables, and documentation to ensure clarity and team visibility

Follow and contribute to evolving delivery standards and best practices

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a client-facing consulting or professional services role, ideally within SaaS, analytics, or data platforms

Strong discovery and scoping skills; able to handle complex, ambiguous client environments independently

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences

Commercial awareness: understands project economics, proactively manages scope, and identifies expansion opportunities

Data Warehouses: Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or BigQuery (data modeling, querying, pipeline design)

Cloud Storage: Familiarity with AWS S3 (or equivalent GCS/Azure Blob) for data ingestion and export patterns

BI Tools: Proficiency in Tableau or similar tools (Looker, Power BI)

AI & MCP: Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and practical experience with AI/LLM integrations or agentic workflows

Data Architecture: Ability to design end-to-end data flows, including ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers

APIs & Integrations: Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and data in/out patterns
