Job Overview

The L3 Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure for the central Datacenter core networks.
This includes overseeing Core Switches, Cisco ACI environments, firewalls, load balancers, Access Switches, maintenance of these devices, monitoring, backup, and restore processes for the central Datacenter, in addition to developing and designing the core networks in the location Datacenters and providing consulting support to all Tires locations, on the local area networks.
The role also involves performing hardware patching, configuring network infrastructure, handling 3rd level IT tickets, and coordinating with external partners.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Oversee and maintain core switches, Cisco ACI environments, firewalls, load balancers, and access switches within the central datacenter.
  • Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all network components.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of core network architectures for location-specific datacenters.
  • Provide expert consulting support to tiered locations on network design and implementation.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of network access services to ensure high availability and reliability, derive optimizations, and ensure all solutions comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including managed service providers, software and hardware vendors, technical teams, and business units, to understand their needs and ensure the solutions align with their requirements.
  • Driving escalation and problem management processes, coordinating complex incident and problem resolution with internal IT teams and external service providers.
