Job Overview
- Electrical and planned maintenance on production and plant equipment to ensure optimal machine performance and minimal downtime
- Prepared to work shift cover, including weekends, standby duties and overtime when operationally required
- PLC operation, fault finding and basic troubleshooting on automated systems
- Repairs, installation and commissioning of machines and production equipment
- Perform instrumentation functions, calibration and related maintenance activities
- Assist with breakdowns throughout the plant and respond urgently to production-related maintenance issues when needed
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements, policies and procedures
- Provide input into spares requirements and stock control for the business unit
- Active participation in problem solving, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Report accurately and in detail on all performed work in SAP – PM
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills with a proactive and hands-on approach to maintenance and troubleshooting
- Commitment to high workmanship standards, housekeeping and quality requirements
