Role tasks and responsibilities

1. Providing Consulting Services Related to Intelligence Investigations, Fraud Investigations, and Country Risk Analysis
• Accurately grasp client issues and needs, and manage the overall design and progress of investigation and analysis projects
• Formulate directions and manage quality for intelligence investigations (reputation, corruption involvement, stakeholder structures, ESG, competitive analysis), fraud investigations, and country risk analysis
• Collaborate with internal expert teams to review deliverables and conduct quality checks prior to submission
• Maintain regular communication with clients to manage expectations and report analysis results
• Support overall coordination of deliverables across multiple projects

2. Business Development and Project Acquisition in Collaboration with Senior Consultants
• Conduct client interviews to understand needs and interests, prepare proposal materials and memos, and support the overall proposal process
• Contribute to preliminary research by industry, country, and risk theme, and participate in internal brainstorming sessions
• Support planning and execution of seminars and marketing activities related to overseas investment and partner management
• Participate in initiatives for developing new services and systematizing internal expertise

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience at a consulting firm, major Japanese company, or global enterprise

• Basic consulting skills (logical thinking, presentation, documentation, facilitation)

※ Direct consulting experience is not mandatory

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally, domestically and internationally

• Ability to manage tasks flexibly and independently under tight deadlines and concurrent assignments

• Mindset to support clients striving in global environments and grow together through their success

Preferred Qualifications Candidates with any of the following experience or knowledge are welcome:

• Practical experience in intelligence or fraud investigations

• Experience in consulting or research projects involving country risk, strategic or geopolitical risk

• Project management experience (investigation design, progress control, quality review)

• Research experience using OSINT, commercial databases, and various open sources

• Knowledge in broad risk management areas such as security, crisis management, and organizational resilience

• Understanding of international politics/economics, ESG, human rights, and intersections of business and regulation

• Experience at consulting firms or audit corporations
