The Convene sales team is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join the Inbound Sales team in New York City. The Sales Coordinator, Inbound role will report to the Assistant Director of Sales, NYC. This pivotal role serves as the primary gateway for prospective clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive lifecycle of inbound inquiries, from initial discovery and qualification to the strategic distribution of high-value leads and the direct procurement of small-group business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Lead Management: Orchestrate the end-to-end management of a high volume of inbound inquiries via telephonic and e-RFP channels. Perform rigorous qualification to ensure alignment with Convene Hostpiality Group’s physical and hybrid product solutions.
  • Revenue Generation: Directly contribute to NYC market regional goals by managing the full sales cycle for events with 15 guests or fewer. Additionally, support national workplace membership targets through diligent renewal and new-member outreach.
  • Lead Distribution & Collaboration: Act as a strategic liaison by identifying and transitioning qualified, high-tier opportunities to Sales Executives while maintaining seamless communication across the department.
  • Data Integrity & Analytics: Utilize Salesforce and HubSpot to record, track, and analyze all lead generation activities. Ensure the capture of precise client data to support organizational reporting and sales forecasting.
  • Cross-Functional Participation: Active engagement in all sales briefings and strategy meetings. Responsible for synthesizing and reporting client sentiment and market feedback to senior leadership to refine sales tactics.

What We Look For: 

  • 1-2 minimum years of experience in a sales role
  • CRM Experience, a plus
  • Experience with physical or virtual events, real estate or flexible workspaces, a plus

Compensation:

Base Salary: $67,000

This role is also eligible for Convene's sales commission program. 

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
