Senior Financial Data Analyst – Vilnius, Lithuania (hybrid)
As Senior Financial Data Analyst in our office in Vilnius, Lithuania, you will play a key role supporting the FP&A Senior Manager in helping to create a systematic approach for optimizing operational business processes to enhance efficiency, cost effectiveness, profitability and customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible for:
- Financial modeling – assist with generating financial models based on business case projections or historical performance with rigorous analysis
- Communicating and discussing audit/impact assessment results with business unit management and if needed, helping with the preparation of management action plans that are incorporated into the audit report.
- Monitoring implementation of agreed management action plans to address internal audit findings and provide regular status updates.
- Performing risk assessment for Internal audit plan preparation purposes.
- Engaging in continuous knowledge development regarding new technologies and tools, applicable laws, regulations and best practices standards.
- Prepare reports and presentations - regularly prepare and generate reporting and presentations for portfolio reviews and ad hoc internal reviews
- Dashboard/ MI maintenance and management – wrangle and retrieve large data sets for consolidation, illuminating standard reporting metrics within custom dashboards to promote transparency across all key stakeholders
- Process development and approach – assist the Senior Manager to collaborate with other key stakeholders and develop standardized team processes to develop and define “how we work”
- Continuous improvement – help us look for opportunities to improve our process and transform our approach into a discipline
You should apply if you have:
- 5+ years proven work experience in internal or external auditing, enterprise risk management, or quality assurance functions, acting as a second control line.
- Relevant internal audit, IT/Data, risk management, compliance, or accounting certification is desired (CIA, CISA, AML-CFT, ACCA, CRMA).
- Experience in the EU/Global payments industry would be an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including modeling, advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
- Hands-on proficiency in one or more of the following business intelligence, visualization, and advanced analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake, or other similar systems.)
- Ability to work independently, rigorous, organized and disciplined
- Excellent communication and consultation skills, both written and verbal in English.
- Excels in team environment with the ability to collaborate and liaise with geographically distributed teams
- Self-starter with ‘can-do’ attitude, a service mindset, and proactive in responding to requests
- Professional, detail-oriented, and organized, with outstanding follow-up abilities
- Enthusiastic, with a strong desire to succeed
