We are seeking an exceptional Director, Product Management to lead innovation and product management for our $500M windows and doors business across 8 manufacturing sites in northern California, Washington, Colorado, and Arizona. This strategic leadership role demands a dynamic executive who can drive product strategy, manage complex cross-functional initiatives, and deliver breakthrough innovations in a rapidly evolving building materials market. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Innovation
- Product Strategy Development: Lead comprehensive product portfolio strategy across multiple brands, channels, and market segments, ensuring optimal positioning and competitive advantage
- Innovation Pipeline Management: Drive new product development from ideation through commercialization, managing a robust innovation pipeline worth $50M+ in annual revenue potential
- Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct sophisticated market research including qualitative/quantitative analysis, willingness-to-pay studies, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions
- Economic Value Modeling: Develop and execute advanced economic models to evaluate product opportunities, pricing strategies, and ROI optimization across the portfolio
Operational Excellence
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Influence and collaborate effectively with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams across 8 production facilities
- Product Portfolio Management: Oversee product lifecycle management, rationalization initiatives, and margin optimization strategies for 200+ SKUs
- Manufacturing Integration: Partner closely with plant leadership to ensure seamless product launches, quality standards, and operational efficiency
- Performance Management: Drive key performance metrics including revenue growth, margin expansion, and market share gains
Team Leadership & Development
- Team Building: Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier product management talent while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
- Mentorship: Provide strategic guidance and career development for direct reports, building next-generation product leadership capabilities
- Stakeholder Management: Present to executive leadership, and key customers on product strategy, market opportunities, and business performance
