Job Overview


Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position. The role is onsite with standard working hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am-6pm). We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance while ensuring business needs are met.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist the physician during cosmetic procedures, including but not limited to injectables, laser treatments, and other aesthetic services.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment, supplies, and consumables are available, organized, and properly sterilized.
  • Follow established treatment protocols and treatment note cards, including room setup, required supplies, procedural assistance, and post-treatment responsibilities.
  • Prepare patients for aesthetic procedures, including obtaining consents, applying numbing agents, and addressing patient questions.
  • Assist with VISIA imaging and iPad before-and-after photography.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the treatment experience.
  • Educate patients on pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions and ensure understanding of aftercare protocols.
  • Provide exceptional patient care while maintaining a calm, professional, and welcoming environment.
  • Return patient phone calls and document all patient communications thoroughly in the EHR.
  • Assist with communicating pathology results to patients as directed.
  • Accurately scribe patient encounters and maintain detailed medical documentation.
  • Assist with administrative duties as assigned.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies.
  • Sign out and track necessary consumables and supplies used throughout the day.
  • Prepare daily treatment schedules, including documenting room assignments and Medical Assistant treatment responsibilities.
  • Work closely with Cosmetic Coordinators to schedule recommended procedures and treatments.
  • Educate patients on available products, services, and VIP Membership offerings.
  • Utilize product and treatment knowledge to support patient education and contribute to practice growth.
  • Collaborate with physicians, aestheticians, and other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Assist with medical dermatology appointments and scribing responsibilities as needed.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, and high-performance cosmetic practice.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, adaptability, and strong attention to detail.
  • Receive feedback constructively and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Attend Lunch & Learns, team meetings, trainings, and huddles as scheduled to continuously expand product, service, and clinical knowledge.


Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery office is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and follow-through.
  • Experience in performing cross-promoting services, and skincare products, and the ability to close sales.
  • Excellent customer service with a patient focus.


Compensation:

The salary for this position ranges from $28-$30/hour, depending on experience.
