Aesthetician

Plastic Surgery Associates  & Allegro Medspa one of our valued partners, is looking for an Aesthetician to join their fast-growing, state-of-the-art clinic located in Santa Rosa.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a medical aesthetics or plastic surgery practice, specializing in quality skincare and laser treatments. The candidate should be well-versed in a range of advanced treatments, technologies, and medical-grade products, with a passion for providing personalized care and achieving exceptional results for patients.

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position requiring 24 hours per week (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). The role is onsite with standard working hours. We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance while ensuring business needs are met.

Responsibilities:

• Can assess and evaluate skin to create a treatment plan that will address the patients' needs
• Able to upsell services in the room and create a customized skin care treatment plan
• Applies, educates and recommends skin care after treatment to ensure best results and compliance
• Sells skincare through education and collaboration with medical staff and consultants
• Works closely with referring clinician to develop a skin care and treatment plan unique to the patient
• Identifies potential patients for cosmetic or surgical services and refers to the appropriate clinician
• Prepares, administers, and documents procedures and therapies according to policies and procedures
• Documents the patient response to care and modifies the plan as needed in collaboration with health care professionals
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of all available skin care products and procedures in the office
• Performs skincare consultations, provides education and supportive teaching to convert into a client
• Strong re-booking rate and able to generate appointments through phone calls or other outreach
• Performs Hydrafacials, Geneo, facials, chemical peels and more within the scope of practice
• Maintains all aesthetic and cosmetic equipment in working order. Keeps room clean and sanitary
• Checks inventory weekly to prevent depletion of stock
• Organizes and maintains supplies in an orderly fashion
• Documents return visits, referrals, and scheduling of all procedures, using the NexTech practice management system.
• Attends continuing education as required or recommended to stay informed of new products and procedures.
• Supports and contributes towards sales and marketing events (galas, social media, beauty events etc)
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

·       Valid California licensure as a Medical Aesthetician or Laser Technician

·       Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery office, with a proven track record of building and maintaining a loyal client base.

·       Proficient in working with advanced laser modalities, including Sciton BBL HERO, CLEAR, LHR, MOXI, and HALO, ensuring safe and effective treatment delivery.

·       Hands-on experience in performing a variety of treatments, including HydraFacial, Microneedling, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, and other advanced skincare procedures.

·       Strong experience in conducting client consultations, cross-promoting services, and recommending skincare products, with a demonstrated ability to close sales and drive revenue.

·       Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to educate clients on treatments and products while providing outstanding customer service.

·       Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate client records and treatment documentation.

Compensation:

The salary for this position ranges from 25 to 30 per year/hour, depending on experience, with additional performance-based incentives and benefits.
