Job Overview

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a strategic and collaborative Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support leaders and employees across the organization. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to management, partnering closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals while fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture.


The HRBP will play a key role in employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, organizational development, performance management, change management, and employee engagement initiatives.

This role requires a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence and support leaders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Business Support

  • Partner with leaders to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that support organizational growth and operational success.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and workforce planning.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related matters and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support change management initiatives, organizational design, and business transformation efforts.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Lead and support employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, workplace investigations, performance concerns, and corrective action processes.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaged workplace culture aligned with company values.
  • Coach managers on employee engagement, retention, and leadership best practices.
  • Identify trends and recommend proactive solutions to enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Talent Management & Organizational Development

  • Partner with leaders to identify talent needs, succession planning opportunities, and workforce development strategies.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Drive employee development initiatives and leadership coaching programs.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support hiring strategies and workforce planning efforts.

HR Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with employment standards, workplace policies, and applicable labor laws across jurisdictions.
  • Provide guidance on policy interpretation and employment-related risk management.
  • Support policy development, implementation, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and support audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives.

Compensation, Benefits & HR Programs

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support compensation reviews, employee rewards, and recognition initiatives.
  • Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of HR programs and initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Generalist, or similar advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices, and employee relations.
  • Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (French language skills are an asset).

Preferred

  • Knowledge of both Canadian and U.S. employment laws and HR practices.
  • CHRP, CHRL, or equivalent HR certification.
  • Experience supporting multi-location or international organizations.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical aesthetics, retail, hospitality, or other service-driven environments.
  • Experience supporting high-growth organizations and change management initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in organizational development and leadership coaching.
