The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing payroll and timekeeping processes, coordinating with personnel and contractors, leading the implementation of payroll and timekeeping systems, and assisting in audit procedures to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with legal requirements. This is a key leadership role that will play an integral part in supporting both internal teams and field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state operations
- Oversee timekeeping and ensure accuracy for both employees and contractors
- Coordinate with department leaders to resolve payroll related discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll and tax regulations
- Supervise payroll staff, provide training and mentorship.
- Support audits and prepare payroll reports for leadership review
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Prefer Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field
- 5+ years of payroll management experience
- Strong Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards
- Experience with ADP is a plus
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
