We are seeking a seasonal Client Document Processor in our Lynden, Washington office. Seasonal Client Document Processor is responsible for reviewing, organizing, and preparing client tax documents for scanning to support tax return preparation. This role involves ensuring documents are accurately scanned, legible, and appropriately processed through the firm’s systems, along with performing clerical tasks and assisting administrative staff as needed.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Reviewing and organizing client-provided tax documents to determine relevance for tax return preparation.
Preparing documents for scanning by ensuring they are in the correct order and free from staples or other obstructions.
Scanning tax documents according to batch or bookmark style based on established guidelines or found on the Scan Instructions form.
Reviewing scanned documents and re-scanning any pages that are unclear, missing, or improperly scanned.
Updating tax jobs in the practice management system once scanning is complete, ensuring the next steps are initiated.
Inserting scanned documents into document management system
Assisting Administrative staff with various duties
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Requirements:
Requires graduation from high school or equivalent
At least two (2) years of administrative experience, prior experience working in a CPA firm a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and able to learn other software programs quickly.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Top notch organizational skills with a strong ability to multitask.
Detail oriented with a commitment to produce consistently accurate work.
Positive and friendly with a service-oriented focus.
Independent problem solver with the ability to work as a collaborative member of multiple teams
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
This is a SEASONAL position in office. January 2026 - April 2026. Monday through Friday 8am to 5:00pm in office.
