Skills & Certifications  

I-CAR Gold Class, OEM Certifications, Structural Repair, Diagnostic Scans, Welding, Electrical Systems, Ohm Meter, Body Shop Safety Compliance, A-Tech (Advanced Auto Body Technician) Preferred but not required. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Repair damaged vehicles to manufacturer specifications. 
  • Perform body, frame, structural, and other repairs per repair plan. 
  • Use welding, diagnostic scans, and electrical testing as needed. 
  • Communicate with estimators and parts department to ensure accurate repairs. 
  • Stay up-to-date on technical bulletins, service manuals, and repair methods. 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. 
  • Document all work accurately and promptly. 
  • Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal. 
  • Keep customer vehicles clean throughout the repair process. 

Requirements

Required: 

  • I-CAR Gold Class Certified Auto Body Technician (A-Tech preferred, Structural Technician a plus)  
  • Mechanically inclined and able to interpret diagnostic scans 
  • Able to read and understand electrical systems; experience using an Ohm meter a plus 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs 
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team 

Preferred: 

  • 3+ years of high-level collision repair experience
