Job Overview
1. Context & Objective
On behalf of one of our key clients, we are seeking a talented, highly rigorous freelance Graphic Designer specializing in print production and editorial design. The chosen professional will be responsible for translating the client's raw assets, copy, and product details into visually compelling, beautifully structured, and professional multi-page layouts that align strictly with their brand identity.
2. Core Responsibilities & Scope of Work
The designer will operate on a project-by-project basis, focusing exclusively on our client's primary publication milestones throughout the year. The scope of work is strictly limited to the following deliverables:
Catalog Design & Production:
Developing the overall creative direction, grid structures, stylesheets, and cover designs based on the client's guidelines.
Efficiently organizing, formatting, and typesetting large volumes of complex data (product specifications, technical sheets, imagery, and pricing tables).
Structuring multi-page documents optimized for physical printing as well as high-quality digital flipbooks (matching the standard of the provided reference catalog).
Brochure & Leaflet Creation:
Designing engaging corporate, promotional, or informational brochures for the client.
Implementing clean typography and content hierarchy to optimize the reading experience and information retention.
Prepress & Print Optimization:
Conducting thorough technical production checks (verifying image resolution, CMYK color profiles, bleeds, margins, and ink limits).
Delivering flawless, high-definition, print-ready PDFs tailored to the client's commercial printer specifications.
3. Required Profile & Technical Qualifications
Technical Competencies (Hard Skills):
Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a graphic designer, with a strong, proven portfolio in editorial design and multi-page print layouts (catalogs, brochures, books, etc.).
Software Mastery: Expert command of Adobe InDesign is mandatory (advanced knowledge of master pages, complex paragraph/character/object styles, automated tables, and long-document management).
Language Proficiency: Absolute fluency in written and spoken English is a strict prerequisite. All key project communication, briefs, and final deliverables will be conducted entirely in English.
Deep technical understanding of the print production pipeline, prepress standards, and color management (CMYK).
Proficiency in supporting Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop for image color correction, Illustrator for vector elements) to ensure total creative autonomy.

4. Collaboration Terms
Compensation: Project-based flat fee or agreed-upon hourly/daily rate.
Workflow: Flexible, ad-hoc collaboration synchronized with our client's publishing calendar. Includes brief video-conference alignments for project kickoffs and feedback loops with our team.
