IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "SMAPE"

Job Overview

University of West Attica is looking for an IVY volunteer!

The volunteer will support the Interreg project “SMAPE - Shared Mobility Action Programmes Exchange", under the Programme Interreg Europe.

The objective of the Interreg project "SMAPE" is to improve shared mobility policies in order to reduce CO2 emissions and traffic congestion. By adopting the collaborative approach and promoting the exchange of experience and knowledge among partners and local stakeholders, the project seeks to achieve zero-carbon urban mobility while contributing to the overall policy goal of a Greener Europe.

The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:

  • Support the organisation, coordination and documentation of stakeholder meetings, workshops, external events, and the final project conference, including agenda preparation, participant communication, logistical arrangements, registrations, technical support, meeting minutes, and follow-up activities.

  • Assist in stakeholder engagement by maintaining and updating stakeholder databases, identifying new stakeholders, monitoring participation, preparing briefing materials, collecting feedback, and supporting continuous communication with local and regional actors.

  • Contribute to the project's communication and dissemination activities by preparing website and social media content, newsletters, presentations, promotional materials, news articles, and communication resources, while collecting success stories, photographs, dissemination evidence, and supporting project reporting.

  • Support participation in Policy Learning Platform and other external events by assisting with event preparation, documentation, knowledge sharing, and the organisation and archiving of reference materials.

  • Contribute to the overall implementation of the project by organising project documentation and archives, monitoring activity timelines and milestones, supporting internal coordination meetings, preparing reporting materials, and facilitating knowledge sharing within the project team.


Other information:

Financial support of: 34.60 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).

Location: Aigaleo, Greece.

Start and duration: September, for 6 months.

Languages*: Greek (C2), English (B2).

*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.
