As a Senior Database Administrator, you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust Oracle database systems
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and configurations
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards (ISO27001:2022,NIS2,NYSE SOX)
• Perform regular backups, recovery testing, and disaster recovery planning
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application needs
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly
• Document database architecture, processes, and procedures

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• minimum 10 years of experience in database administration
• Proven experience with Oracle relational database systems
• Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., PL/SQL, T-SQL, Bash)
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
• Solid understanding of data modeling and normalization
• Experience with database monitoring tools
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies
