Job Overview
ROLE OVERVIEW
Joining our passionate and friendly Equipment Engineering Team at our brand new facility in Dandenong South with onsite gym, you will have responsibility for the manufacturing and assembly of our machinery and equipment made in Australia and installed across our global sites. You will be responsible for fabricating metal parts, assembling, testing and general improvements to promote machine reliability and efficiency as well as contributing to other ad hoc project work as required. This role is most suited to someone who has experience working with stainless steel machining (lathe and mill), fabrication as well as TIG welding experience. Working hours are 6.30am - 3.30pm Monday- Friday. This is a full- time salaried role with NO overtime.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Machining where required (Mill & Lathe)
- Assembly of machine components
- Alignment and commissioning of machinery with the team
- Setting a high standard of quality
- Work both independently and as part of the team
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years TIG welding experience with stainless steel
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Machining) or equivalent mechanical trade qualification
- Machine tool operation including center lathe and mill
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Well-developed communications skills
- Well organized with the ability to plan work, establish appropriate priorities and meet deadlines
- A sense of humor, self-confidence and the ability to think on your feet
- Friendly and easy to work with
- Able to comply with policies and procedures
- Must have unrestricted right to work in Australia
- Current Construction Induction (White Card) and relevant safety certifications for welding operations
