This individual will be driving trucks across the Baton Rouge area as well as working in our warehouse. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers in a box truck (26 feet) from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. Additionally, this person will be doing ad hoc tasks such as checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and building orders.

What will your job involve?
- Overnight in hotel every Monday and Thursday night!!
- Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
- Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
- Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
- Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
- Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
- Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
- Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
What are we looking for?
- Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
- Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
- Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
- Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
- Proven longevity in past employment
- TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
