The Opportunity

Dash0 is hiring its next Sales Development Representative to help drive our next stage of growth. We're an OpenTelemetry-native observability platform competing with Datadog, New Relic, and Dynatrace — and the developer community is responding. Inbound interest is accelerating, and we need someone to turn that momentum into qualified pipeline.

You'll be one of the first voices prospects hear from Dash0. You'll identify and engage the right accounts, qualify interest, and partner closely with Account Executives to hand off opportunities that convert. This is a role where the quality of your outreach matters more than the volume — we measure outcomes, not activity.

What You’ll Do

  • Qualify and nurture inbound leads from events, campaigns, and organic interest

  • Prospect into target accounts through outbound outreach across calls, email, and LinkedIn

  • Research and map key accounts, identifying decision-makers and their observability challenges

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities with full context

  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in our CRM and help refine our outreach sequences over time

  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective customers, representing Dash0's mission and values

  • Share customer insights back into Marketing and Product to sharpen our messaging and positioning

Wat you bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales development, ideally in B2B SaaS or developer tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Confidence in cold outreach, handling objections, and booking qualified meetings

  • Hands-on experience with modern sales tools like HubSpot, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • A growth mindset and willingness to learn about technical products — you don't need to be a coder, but you're curious about how technology solves business problems

  • Ownership mindset — you finish what you start and thrive in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment

Nice to have

  • Direct experience selling observability, APM, or related developer tools

  • Familiarity with the OpenTelemetry and Observability ecosystem

  • Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment
