Role Overview

The Project Billing Operations Consultant is responsible for accurate and timely Project Billing across all Datacom subsidiaries and administration of all related projects. The Consultant will also play a critical role in the design and implementation of fit for purpose processes, playing a key role in group-wide ERP improvement.

Role Responsibilities

The Project Billing Operations Consultant is responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Managing the portfolio of projects to ensure administration and billing in accordance with the contract.
  • Ensuring portfolio’s deliverables are met in a timely and accurate manner, including:

-Project and Annuity billing

-Month-End close activities

-Project administration and governance

-Process governance including improvements

-Ad Hoc projects and process Improvements

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to address queries and provide administrative related solutions.
  • Support addressing complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the business.
  • Driving operational efficiencies through continuous process improvements and identifying system improvement opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Audit requirements for project administration.
  • Ensuring governance and risk management strategies comply with applicable legislation,
  • government policy, relevant standards, contract obligations and the strategic priorities of Datacom.
  • Responsible for implementing a principle driven health and safety culture that cares for employees and ensures their safety in line with Datacom policy.
  • Takes reasonable care that their actions (or inactions) do not harm the Health and Safety of self or others. Reports all incidents, hazards or unsafe work practices as per Datacom policy.
