Translate client requirements into actionable data intelligence solutions;
Design and implement data governance platforms such as Collibra, Soda, or Microsoft Purview;
Assist project managers in the technical rollout of data governance initiatives;
Contribute to advisory projects, helping clients define data governance roles, responsibilities, and organizational structures.
Your Role
As a Junior Data Governance Consultant at Datashift, you help steer how organizations manage their data and act as the bridge between the business and its data. You dive deep into the business to help define what data truly means by mapping which data exists, what it represents, who has access to it, who is responsible for it, and how it can be used reliably. Together with experienced colleagues, you work on governance solutions around data definitions, metadata, and regulatory requirements, often using tools such as Collibra. You facilitate workshops, give demos, support users, and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, translating complex challenges into clear data agreements and processes. If you’re interested in also exploring the technical side of data governance, there is certainly room to grow in that direction as well. In doing so, you make data tangible, understandable, and usable—and help organizations grow in their data maturity.
