Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good data warehousing/integrations foundation, proficiency in Python or Java programming, and experience with version control systems like Git.
Key Responsibilities
Develop optimized data platform solutions
Support data scientists, analysts, and other engineers
Implement data governance and security practices
Monitor and improve data pipeline performance and reliability
Basic Qualifications
Engineering education in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics or Engineering Degree
Experience in data integrations
2+ years of experience
Experience in backend software development
Familiar with DevOps processes
Fluent knowledge of the English language
Bonus Skills
Experience with cloud platforms
Experience with modern data stack
Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or similar
Basic experience with Infrastructure as Code like Terraform or Pulumi
Experience with bash scripting and automation
Basic experience with Docker or Kubernetes
