As a Junior Fraud Analyst, you will play a key role in detecting and preventing fraudulent activity, helping to safeguard our customers and financial assets. You will monitor and review transactions, investigate unusual patterns, and manage fraud alerts through the ARIC transaction monitoring platform. Your work will contribute to strengthening fraud detection strategies while supporting responsible business growth and maintaining trust in our services.

What you'll be doing:

  •  Handling daily fraud alerts in the ARIC transaction monitoring platform

  • Conducting Common Purchase Point (CPP) analysis to detect fraud trends

  • Managing compromised account schema tasks to mitigate risks and protect cardholders.

  • Developing, testing, and maintaining fraud monitoring rules.

  • Staying updated on fraud tactics and contributing to fraud prevention.

  • Working in extended business hours, including the possibility of shifts during bank holidays and weekends.

What you'll bring:

  • Prior customer service experience, with the ability to communicate professionally, empathetically, and effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • While previous experience in fraud monitoring or financial services is not required, any background in fraud prevention, financial security, or customer service is a strong plus.

  • Ability to stay composed and adaptable when facing unexpected fraud trends or urgent cases.

  • A solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to tackle challenges and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

  •  A drive to continuously improve processes and innovate fraud prevention strategies.

  • Familiarity with fraud monitoring tools (e.g., ARIC) and ability to learn new systems quickly

  • Experience working with large datasets and extracting insights to support fraud detection.

  • Bringing forward ideas for new fraud prevention techniques or technologies that enhance the company’s competitive edge and support its growth.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills – Ability to effectively communicate findings, provide training, and work cross-functionally with different teams and stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving fraud landscape.

  • Understanding of fraud prevention regulations and compliance requirements (a plus).
