The Human Resources Business Partner-NA, serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders and as the primary point of contact for people related matters within the region. The HRBP partners closely with leaders to understand business needs and acts as a liaison between the business and HR service delivery functions, ensuring that organizational priorities are effectively supported by HR capabilities.
The HRBP plays a key role in implementing HR initiatives, supporting workforce planning and talent acquisition efforts, and providing insights to enhance the employee experience and enable business outcomes. This includes support across performance management, compensation, training and development, and employee relations. In addition to core HR responsibilities, the role collaborates on enterprise initiatives such as ATS implementation, job architecture, onboarding improvements, employer branding, and policy development, working in partnership with HR Ops
The HRBP ensures compliance with applicable Canadian employment laws and regulations and applies, administers, and interprets workplace policies and guidelines in alignment with the organization’s operating model and business objectives. The role primarily supports the Canadian employee population, with secondary support for a defined group of US employees
