Technical Delivery Manager – Medical Imaging Visualization & Reporting

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) to lead end-to-end delivery of medical imaging visualization and reporting platforms, including PACS viewers, enterprise imaging, AI-enabled workflows, and analytics dashboards.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, clinical stakeholders, and enterprise customers, ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery of complex healthcare imaging solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Program Management
Own end-to-end delivery of imaging visualization and reporting products (2D/3D viewers, structured reporting, AI overlays).
Plan and execute delivery using Agile / SAFe / Hybrid methodologies.
Manage roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery metrics.
Drive cross-team coordination across frontend, backend, AI/ML, DevOps, QA, and integration teams.
Ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-quality delivery commitments.
Medical Imaging Domain Leadership
Lead delivery of solutions involving DICOM, non-DICOM, VNA, RIS, PACS, and Enterprise Viewer platforms.
Ensure correct implementation of:
Imaging workflows (order → acquisition → interpretation → reporting → distribution)
Visualization (MPR, MIP, VR, cine, hanging protocols)
Structured and narrative reporting
Act as a bridge between technical teams and clinical stakeholders (radiologists, cardiologists, operations).
Technical & Architecture Oversight
Collaborate with architects on:
Viewer architectures (web-based, zero-footprint, desktop)
Scalable backend services (study retrieval, rendering, caching)
AI integration pipelines (inference, annotations, GSPS, overlays)
Review technical designs for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Guide teams on cloud-native delivery (AWS / GCP / Azure).
Quality, Compliance & Security
Ensure adherence to healthcare compliance standards:
HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 13485/62304 (as applicable)
DICOM conformance and IHE profiles
Drive non-functional requirements:
Performance (large studies, 3D rendering)
Availability, scalability, and resilience
Security and data privacy
Lead release readiness, UAT, and production go-lives.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
Act as the primary delivery point of contact for enterprise customers.
Present delivery status, risks, and mitigation plans to executive stakeholders.
Support customer demos, pilots, and phased rollouts.
Partner with Product Management to translate clinical and business needs into executable delivery plans.
