VMware Engineer

• Design, configure, and deploy VMware virtualization solutions tailored to client needs.
• Administer and manage VMware vSphere infrastructure, focusing on ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
• Maintain and optimize virtual machine templates, snapshots, and clones.
• Monitor system performance, implementing optimizations for enhanced efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the VMware infrastructure.
• Implement VMware NSX for advanced network virtualization.
• Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to devise customized VMware solutions.
• Document installation procedures and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a VMware Engineer or in a similar capacity.
• Proficient in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server.
• Experience with VMware NSX for network virtualization.
• Familiar with managing virtual machines, templates, and snapshots.
• Understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies for VMware environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification is a plus.
