Software Engineer Intern (Backend)

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure by working in a cross-functional product team to design and build backend services that support our products across global and APAC markets.
• Learn and apply modern backend development practices, including building APIs and services that power customer-facing applications.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving scalable backend systems and services.
• Understand and apply software design principles (e.g. SOLID) and common backend design patterns.
• Write clean, testable, scalable, and maintainable code in accordance with company standards and best practices.
• Contribute to backend features that run on a high-scale technology platform serving millions of users.
• Gain first-hand experience in building, testing, and operating distributed systems in a production environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.
