Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

  •  Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, inventory storage, picking, packing, and outbound dispatch.
  • Ensure smooth end-to-end workflow to support timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor operational performance and ensure compliance with established KPIs and customer SLAs.
  • Coordinate cycle counts, stock takes, and inventory reconciliation to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards.
  • Identify and escalate warehouse facility or equipment maintenance issues to minimize operational disruptions .

2. Productivity & Workforce Management

  •  Monitor real-time productivity using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including unit picking and other operational metrics.
  • Conduct regular warehouse floor inspections to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate manpower allocation across warehouse zones based on workload and order volumes.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of warehouse resources, equipment, and labor to maximize operational efficiency. 

3. Quality & Inventory Control

  • Enforce barcode scanning procedures and maintain a zero-bypass scanning policy to ensure order accuracy.
  • Review daily inventory discrepancies and mis-pick reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor product handling practices to minimize inventory damage and maintain stock integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse quality standards and operating procedures.
  • Ensure the store is continuously audit-ready, maintaining compliance with both warehouse quality standards and local regulatory food safety guidelines.

4. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse associates to achieve daily operational targets.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and support to shift leads and fulfilment leads responsible for designated warehouse zones.
  • Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and compliance with company policies.
  • Address performance issues, disciplinary matters, and policy violations promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular team briefings, performance reviews, and on-the-job training.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Take overall responsibility for shift performance and operational outcomes.

5. Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)

  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and participate in safety risk assessments.
  • Enforce 100% compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Promote a safe working environment by identifying hazards, reporting incidents, and implementing preventive measures.
