As an IT Auditor we help our clients in the following ways:

• We identify risks and weaknesses, thus enabling the definition of solutions for introducing controls over processes supported by IT.
• We help organisations take advantage of new and innovative technologies and better manage their risks through advisory and managed services.
• We test controls implemented to mitigate risks around the use of IT, as part of supporting financial auditing tasks as well as for third party reporting.
• We provide clients with assurance reports on several topics, including general it controls in an outsourcing environment, application and process controls and protection of personal data (GDPR) e.g. ISAE 3402, ISAE 3000, SOC.
• We support and transform internal audit functions to provide relevant and timely insights to Executive Management and the Board on a wide range of risks
• We work across functions within Deloitte to provide our clients with the right set of skills

While your projects are based in the IT Audit and Assurance team, you will be working closely with our Financial Audit teams and with clients that span both nationally and internationally. You will quickly be involved in client proposals and help produce key analyses and reports. We will make sure that you get familiar with the latest models, methodologies, tools and frameworks so that you feel confident when approaching clients. We believe in leadership at all levels.
