This is a hybrid role based in our Gloucester office, you must live within a commutable distance.
As part of Destination Sport Group (“DSG”), Mike Burton create and deliver major brand, customer and revenue focused ticketing and travel programmes around the globe, working in direct partnership with organisations that include the British & Irish Lions and England Rugby. https://mikeburton.com/
Reporting to the Marketing Manager for the Mike Burton Group and sitting in a team that includes Marketing, Insight, Product and Sales, the Marketing Executive will help to build a digital web presence, including ecommerce platforms and helping to create, launch, manage and optimise digital campaigns, primarily through email, social, search and partnership marketing, ensuring that you attract the right customers which are key to our marketing activity, whilst keeping a keen eye on retention and maximisation of online opportunities.
The role will work with iconic sporting brands such as England Rugby, The Open and the British & Irish Lions.
No two days are the same in this broad role but on a typical day you will
Work across all of the main marketing channels, including ecommerce digital development, web development, search (organic and paid), content and social management.
Help to build, test and refine new and existing products to ensure each product offering is on brand and promotes the correct messaging and inclusions.
Help to deliver digital experiences across multiple brands with the goal of an unrivalled user experience. The role will be required to grow and enhance the digital presence while helping to manage several large digital projects concurrently to ensure owned, earn and paid marketing are best in class
Deliver a wide range innovative campaign ideas to create market leading marketing that sit within the brands that we work with. A keen eye for detail and willingness to adapt ensuring that all marketing fits the overall business objectives.
Ensure regular and timely monitoring of product availability and user experience inline with product availability, working to build micro product and campaigns in line with demand.
Working as part of a wider marketing, product and sales team to achieve company goals and targets.
Constantly strive to create and develop sales-focused and relevant campaigns that matches product availability, customer demand and is innovative and progressive, where relevant, within the applicable target market.
Have a constant and detailed understanding and assessment of the competition and the travel industry to ensure the organisation’s product is at the forefront of relevant market factors, including, inclusions, structure and innovation.
Continually work closely with the sales, insight, product and customer services teams to have a swift and informed knowledge of customer feedback as and when events happen.
