Junior Application Developer

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer Agile to support our Avengers team. 

Application
The risk evaluation system (RiBS) is the internal credit agency of the Deutsche Telekom and as such, rates all customers and partners of the Telekom areas landline and mobile, as well as Congstar, in daily rating processes. The resulting scores and classifications are used for processes like credit assessments, limit monitoring, or fraud detection, as a basis for decision making. The evaluations are also used in controlling the late-notice and dunning processes. To complete this task, RiBS has access to relevant data from customers, including their invoices, payment behavior, dunning procedures, collection proceedings, contracts, billing accounts, bank details, current and past addresses etc.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications or microservices according stories definition
• Develop and run automated tests on various application levels
• Maintain application, support bug fixing
• Prepare GitLab CI/CD pipelines with DevOps engineers cooperation
• Prepare and perform initial data loads and migrations, interface and query setup
• Write and update technical system documentation and business logic documentation (e.g. UML)
• Contribute to knowledge base of developers
• Make proposals for optimization of processes
• Proactively manage problem solving and root cause analysis
