Purpose
Country Security Officer steers the implementation of security requirements into the business processes and controls the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation. Holder of the position is responsible for the identification of critical or security-relevant company assets, as well as their security concepts, emergency and crisis management, commitment and operationalizing the superordinate security program and local activities.
Country Security Officer is authorized to issue instructions to all subordinate legal entities within the assigned legal entity. In particular, the role is mandated to define security guidelines for subordinate units within the assigned legal entity. Holder of the position is responsible for the maintenance and further development of the security management systems and the associated matrix certification.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- authorized to issue instructions to all subordinate legal entities of his or her legal entity
- assumes the role of the superior Security Officer for the subordinate legal entities
- defines security guidelines for subordinate units of his or her legal entity
- implements the specifications of the respective superordinate security management in legal entity and derives further or more detailed regulations from these if necessary
- responsible for the maintenance and further development of the security management systems and the associated matrix certification
- plans a tactical security program in accordance with the strategy and business model of the superordinate unit
- represents legal entity in the committees of the superordinate security management
- assumes the role of the Process Manager of the security management process of legal entity
- steers the implementation of security requirements into the business processes and controls the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation
- defines clear processes and responsibilities for procedures that are operationalized by the security management
- responsible for ensuring process performance, quality and adherence to deadlines
- interface to relevant authorities and interest groups
- responsible for the risk map, the audit plan, the security incident report, the identification of critical or security-relevant company assets, as well as their security concepts, emergency and crisis management
- responsible for commitment and operationalizing the superordinate security program and local activities
