Job Overview

Role Summary

The Multi-Site Porter plays a key role in delivering a high-quality workplace experience by providing proactive, hands-on support across client facilities. This role blends concierge-style service with porter and light facility support, ensuring common areas, meeting spaces, and amenities are clean, safe, functional, and ready for use at all times.

The successful candidate will be service-oriented, detail-focused, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic corporate environment. This role is highly visible and interacts regularly with tenants, visitors, and client leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Tenant Support

  • Support meeting and event setups, including furniture arrangement and room readiness
  • Assist with executive and leadership meeting preparation
  • Coordinate and communicate service requests to appropriate personnel
  • Provide timely updates and escalate issues as required

Porter & Facility Support

  • Perform proactive rounds of lobbies, washrooms, kitchens, and common areas
  • Restock consumables (paper products, soap, sanitizer, coffee supplies, etc.)
  • Respond quickly to spills, cleanliness issues, and urgent requests
  • Support waste, recycling, and general upkeep
  • Assist with internal moves, deliveries, and basic logistics

Light Handyperson Support (Asset)

  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments such as:
    • Replacing light bulbs
    • Tightening hardware
    • Hanging signage
    • Resetting furniture or fixtures
  • Identify maintenance issues and escalate when work is beyond scope

Safety & Quality

  • Follow all safety procedures and use PPE as required
  • Identify and report hazards
  • Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and service standards
  • Complete daily checklists and documentation

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proactive mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable in a physically active role (walking, light lifting, room setups)
  • Professional, calm, and approachable demeanor

Assets

  • Previous experience in hospitality, concierge, facilities, or corporate support
  • Day porter or building attendant experience
  • Conference services or event setup experience
  • Light handyperson or general maintenance experience
  • Familiarity with corporate office environments
