Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities:

Working based out of our Saskatoon office:

  • Conduct Safety Inspections
  • Support in conduct training sessions for employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures and proper use of equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance of employees before going to the field.
  • Assist in investigating accidents and incidents to determine their cause and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate them.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports and training sessions.
  • Monitor workplace conditions to ensure they do not pose health risks to employees and that environmental regulations are followed.
  • Any other duties relating to health and safety as assigned by the HSE manager.

Required Skills

  • Pursuing certificate, diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Experience in hazard identification & control, emergency response planning, incident investigations and inspections.
  • Demonstrate good communication with internal and external clients.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel to remote project locations as required.
