Senior Data Analytics Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership & Architecture :
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data pipelines and platforms on Microsoft Azure.
• Lead solution architecture discussions for Azure-based data engineering solutions, including:
• Data Lakes
• Data Warehouses
• Data Integration Pipelines
• Advise clients on modern data architectures, governance frameworks, security, and best practices.
• Drive innovation using Microsoft services such as:
• Microsoft Fabric
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Lake
• Azure Purview
• Technical Management & Delivery :
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of data engineering projects, ensuring quality, scope, timelines, and client satisfaction.
• Manage project teams by:
• Delegating tasks effectively
• Mentoring team members on Azure tools and engineering best practices
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Client Engagement:
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights on data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Conduct workshops, technical demos, and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements to showcase Azure capabilities.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, identifying opportunities for future engagements and solution expansions.
• Innovation & Knowledge Sharing ;
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in Azure Data, Analytics, and AI technologies.
• Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices to improve delivery efficiency.
• Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, blogs, internal knowledge sessions, and conference presentations.
• Collaborate with Microsoft and partner ecosystems to co-develop innovative solutions and secure funding opportunities.
• Practice Growth & Pre-Sales
• Support pre-sales activities, including:
• Proposal development
• Solution design
• Demo creation
• Project cost and effort estimation
• Represent Agile Insights at industry events, panels, and conferences to strengthen market presence.
• Identify and nurture new business opportunities to expand the Data & Analytics practice.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience
• 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a minimum 5 years on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, enterprise-grade data solutions.
• Technical Expertise
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Lake
• Azure SQL Database
• Strong expertise in:
• Data modelling
• ETL / ELT processes
• Designing scalable and resilient data pipelines
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and data governance frameworks.
• Microsoft Fabric experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools is a plus

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
• Other relevant Microsoft Azure certifications
