Responsibilities
- Design and develop AJAX-style front-end interfaces, ensuring responsiveness and compatibility across devices.
- Utilise rapid front-end development tools, particularly Retool, to create dynamic and functional user interfaces.
- Collaborate with backend developers to seamlessly integrate RESTful APIs into front-end applications.
- Develop workflows and solutions using low-code automation tools like LogicApps and N8N to bridge front-end and backend functionalities.
- Manage and contribute to the Git codebase (Azure DevOps preferred) for version control and collaborative development.
- Ensure designs align with user needs and business goals, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and users.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in UX design and front-end development to propose innovative ideas.
- Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable components to streamline future development.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Preferred Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React.js, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with attention to accessibility and usability standards.
- Experience with API mocking tools or frameworks for efficient front-end development.
- Familiarity with prototyping and design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Knowledge of modern UX/UI best practices and testing methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and stakeholders, in an Agile environment.
