The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of IT projects across client environments. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with agreed commercial, technical, and operational objectives. Reporting to the Service Delivery Lead, the Senior Project Manager is a senior, hands-on delivery role with accountability for project execution, client engagement, and governance. This position does not hold direct people management responsibility but provides leadership within the project context and contributes to overall service delivery outcomes.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Lead, the Senior Project Manager is a senior, hands-on delivery role with accountability for project execution, client engagement, and governance. This position does not hold direct people management responsibility but provides leadership within the project context and contributes to overall service delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects including infrastructure builds, cloud migrations, SharePoint projects, Intune deployments, security initiatives, and system upgrades
- Define and manage project scope, objectives, timelines, and resourcing in collaboration with stakeholders
- Deliver multiple projects concurrently, ranging from small, short-duration initiatives to large, complex engagements
- Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely resolution and escalation where required
- Ensure all project documentation, registers, and artefacts are maintained to a high standard Team Coordination & Collaboration
- Coordinate internal technical resources, vendors, and third parties to deliver project outcomes
- Work closely with Service Desk, Engineers, NOC, and Architects to ensure project alignment with operational standards
- Ensure appropriate knowledge transfer and operational readiness prior to handover to BAU support Client Engagement & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, structured, and proactive communication
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, stand-ups, and regular status updates
- Manage client expectations and maintain delivery confidence throughout the engagement Commercial Management & Governance
- Track project financials and margin performance, escalating risks or variances as required (tracking responsibility only)
- Ensure change controls and variations are identified, documented, and raised in line with governance processes
- Ensure accuracy of client billing by validating scope delivery, milestones, and completion status
- Apply structured delivery methodologies including PRINCE2, Agile, and hybrid approaches as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, security, and quality standards Reporting & Metrics
- Provide regular project status reporting to the Service Delivery Lead, including timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery confidence
- Maintain accurate project schedules, financial tracking, and documentation
- Complete post-project reviews and lessons learned to inform continuous improvement

Skills and Qualification
- Experience delivering IT projects in a managed services, consulting, or enterprise IT environment
- Proven track record delivering infrastructure, cloud, workplace, and security projects
- Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, networking, and Windows Server
- Demonstrated experience using PRINCE2, Agile, and hybrid project delivery methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment
Certifications - PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, AgilePM, or equivalent project management certification would be advantageous
