We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to lead our expansion into the European market, with a primary focus on the United Kingdom. Based remotely in Sri Lanka, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities with IT service providers and technology firms looking to scale through offshore talent solutions.
This is a strategic sales role ideal for someone who understands the nuances of selling offshore or nearshore IT services into the European region and thrives on building long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities
- Contribute and execute a go-to-market strategy to drive new business across the UK and wider European region.
- Generate qualified leads through proactive prospecting and outreach within the MSP, SI, and tech ecosystem.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities from initial contact to contract close.
- Conduct virtual presentations, discovery calls to articulate Dijital Team’s value proposition.
- Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
- Represent Dijital Team at virtual and in-person events, webinars, and industry forums relevant to the European market.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and activities in the CRM system.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 3+ years experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within the IT services, outsourcing, or offshoring industry experience.
- Proven experience selling offshore / nearshore IT or technology services into the European or UK market.
- Strong understanding of the MSP, SI, or software development sectors.
- Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end sales cycles with C-level stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate client needs into actionable offshore solutions.
- Experience using CRM tools with experience with HubSpot prefeered.
