We are at the forefront of implementing and customizing business solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a talented individual with a strong background in Python development to join our team as an Odoo Developer. While prior experience with Odoo is not required, it will be highly advantageous. What we must see though, is the ability to solve complex business process problems and develop innovative solutions. There will be opportunities to expand your development into Artificial Intelligence as well, alongside Odoo implementations. Official Odoo training will be provided to the successful candidate to ensure they are well-equipped to meet the challenges of this role.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Engage in the development and customization of Odoo modules to meet project requirements, leveraging a strong Python development skill set.
- Analyze client needs to devise robust solutions that improve business processes and efficiency.
- Work closely with project managers and other team members to craft scalable and innovative solutions from partial or limited project scopes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance, ensuring high quality outcomes.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and support.
- Document technical processes and solutions clearly and concisely for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Experience/Skills
- 3+ Years of experience in Python development, with a portfolio of projects that demonstrate this skill.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of tackling complex business challenges.
- Basic understanding of database systems, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) is desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies, specifically Odoo ERP, for which official training will be provided.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, capable of handling projects with partial scopes and turning them into successful implementations.
Desirable Skills
- Odoo Certification is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Understanding of web development principles and MVC architecture.
- Experience with ERP systems or business process management software is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with Odoo or Microsoft Power Platform.
- Exposure to international teams or work experience outside Sri Lanka.
- Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud (not essential but a plus).
