IT Operations Specialist
Salaried, full-timeJob Overview
About The Role
As our IT Operations Specialist, you'll be the go-to person for keeping our internal systems running smoothly and our team productive. This is a foundational role - you'll be establishing IT operations practices for a growing organisation of around ~150 people across three countries. 🌏
The role blends hands-on support work (think access management, troubleshooting, and keeping our core tools humming) with project work that'll grow over time - things like evaluating new vendors, rolling out security improvements, and helping shape how we manage our technology environment.
You'll report directly to the Chief Technology & Product Officer and work closely with teams across the business. This is a great opportunity for someone early-to-mid career who wants to build something, not just maintain it.
What You'll Own

- Manage user lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, and permission changes across our core systems.
- Handle internal support requests - password resets, access issues, software troubleshooting, and general "how do I..." questions.
- Support a mixed-device environment spanning Mac, Windows, and mobile devices across both company-owned and BYOD setups.
- Maintain our identity and access management practices, ensuring the right people have the right access.
- Create and maintain documentation for common processes and self-service guides.
- Monitor and maintain our core productivity tools to ensure reliability and security.

- Comfortable supporting both Mac and Windows users in a mixed-device environment.
- Familiarity with SaaS application management (we use Slack, 1Password, and various internal tools).
- Strong troubleshooting instincts - you can diagnose problems methodically and explain solutions clearly.
- Excellent communication skills - you'll be helping people across all levels of the business, often remotely.
- Self-directed work style - comfortable prioritising your own work and knowing when to escalate.
- Genuine interest in improving how things work, not just keeping them running.
Nice to Have
- Experience with endpoint management or MDM solutions (particularly in mixed OS/BYOD environments).
- Exposure to identity providers and SSO configuration.
- Basic scripting ability (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation.
- Experience in a healthcare, regulated, or high-compliance environment.
