About The Role


We’re looking for a Marketing Lead who will be responsible for owning and driving the full marketing function across Dispensed and VeteranCann. This role will provide strategic direction while remaining hands-on in execution, ensuring campaigns and initiatives directly support business growth targets. As a key member of the leadership team, the Marketing Lead/Head of Marketing will unify brand strategy across markets, guide a growing marketing team, and ensure that every campaign reflects our product expertise and patient-first mission.


This position will report into the leadership team and collaborate closely with our Digital Advertising Specialist, Social Media Manager, and the Digital Marketing Coordinator, while also working cross-functionally with Operations, Medical, Sales, and People & Culture. The Marketing Lead will play a pivotal role in driving global expansion into Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.



What You'll Own

  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy across paid, organic, and digital channels, ensuring activity aligns with business growth targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, driving strong performance across paid ads, social content, and campaign execution.
  • Provide creative and strategic oversight for all advertising and digital content, ensuring brand consistency and compliance across campaigns.
  • Partner with Operations, Medical, and Sales teams to translate product expertise into compelling, patient-first marketing.
  • Drive marketing automation, email campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Deliver clear, actionable reporting that ties marketing activity directly to lead generation, brand awareness, and business outcomes.
  • Manage marketing budgets and provide data-driven insights to optimise campaigns and overall performance.


What You’ll Need

  • Experience leading marketing strategy and execution across multiple channels (digital, social, campaigns, content, brand).
  • Strong people management skills with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on involvement in execution.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable growth, brand awareness, and engagement outcomes.
  • Major plus if you have a background in health-tech, SaaS, or consumer technology, ideally within a scaling or start-up environment.
