Job Overview

Diversified Botanics is a high-performance wellness company redefining what operational excellence looks like. We value speed, precision, and accountability—and we hire individuals who bring the same mindset to every shift. This is a culture for people who take pride in doing things well, at pace, and as part of a tight-knit team.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate the CEO’s vision into enterprise-wide execution, ensuring priorities are delivered on time, on budget, and to standard.

  • Orchestrate cross-departmental alignment, breaking down silos and enforcing operational clarity across leadership teams.

  • Act as a strategic thought partner: take direction, key benchmarks, and ideation from the CEO, then return with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and deployment-ready recommendations.

  • Own strategic initiative oversight — from OKR planning through performance tracking and course correction.

  • Drive accountability and discipline into execution: codify processes, enforce numeric benchmarks, and ensure no strategic objective loses momentum.

  • Operate as a practitioner of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) and Scrum, ensuring leadership discipline, sprint-based execution, and clear accountability across departments.

  • Manage information flow: prepare decision-ready materials, connect the executive office with the broader staff, and ensure clarity without creating silos.

  • Evaluate tradeoffs: weigh financial impact, resource constraints, and opportunity cost to advise where focus belongs and what can be deprioritized.

  • Support enterprise-scale initiatives — including automation, AI integration, manufacturing efficiency, and operational transformation.

  • Represent the CEO in critical meetings and external engagements where executive alignment is required.

You’ll Thrive Here If You

  • Lead with urgency, communicate with precision, and enforce outcomes without excuses.

  • Can think on your feet under time constraints — making decisions with 70% of the data while holding yourself and others accountable to exacting standards.

  • Step confidently into ambiguity, simplify complexity, and prioritize the few things that matter most.

  • Treat culture as a performance system, not a perk — using candor, accountability, and alignment as strategic assets.

  • See yourself as an extension of the CEO: grounded, data-informed, and relentlessly focused on results.

You May Struggle Here If You

  • Require extensive direction or rigid process to stay productive.

  • Avoid direct feedback or hesitate to address underperformance.

  • Confuse seniority with credibility or title with trust.

  • Prioritize planning over execution or analysis over action.

  • View the Chief of Staff role as administrative support rather than strategic leadership and accountability.

What You Bring

  • Ability to travel about 40% of the time and/or be based in Draper, Utah.

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including direct executive-level scope.

  • A proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes in high-growth or scaling organizations.

  • Strong financial literacy and comfort engaging with P&L, capital allocation, and enterprise-level reporting.

  • Expertise in strategic planning, operational execution, and cross-functional alignment.

  • Deep familiarity with EOS and Scrum with demonstrated ability to run disciplined cadences, sprints, and accountability structures.

  • Proven ability to use enterprise tools (ClickUp, Acumatica, Ninety.io, Slack, Carbon Voice) to enforce visibility and accountability.

  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and decision-making under pressure.

  • Cultural alignment with Diversified Botanics’ values: speed, candor, precision, ownership, and relentless execution.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven executive experience with direct accountability for business outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through complexity, inflection points, and scaling environments.

  • Operational discipline and a strong bias for execution.

  • Track record of building and systematizing teams, processes, or functions from scratch.

  • Comfort navigating investor, regulatory, or other high-stakes stakeholder environments.

  • Working fluency in EOS and Scrum methodologies for strategic and operational cadence.

  • Ability to travel about 40% of the time and/or be based in Draper, Utah.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience within a founder-led, high-growth environment.

  • Experience managing enterprise-wide transformation, including P&L or capital allocation.

  • Familiarity with automation, AI-enabled systems, and digital infrastructure at scale.

  • Board-level engagement or enterprise cross-functional influence.

  • History of coaching and developing high-performing, values-aligned senior leaders.
