Route Sales Representative (DSD -Direct Store Delivery)

What You’ll Do

• Own and grow a defined Direct Store Delivery (DSD) route across retail grocery, convenience, and wellness accounts

• Build trusted, long-term relationships with store managers, buyers, and key stakeholders

• Deliver product directly to stores and ensure optimal shelf placement, merchandising, and compliance

• Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and identify reorder opportunities in real time

• Execute against route-level KPIs for distribution, velocity, and display execution

• Communicate field insights back to sales leadership to inform broader strategy

• Uphold Diversified Botanics’ brand standards in every account, every visit

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales experience, including documented Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations (route management, merchandising, or delivery execution).

• Industry experience in one or more of our core retail categories (CBD, hemp, cannabis-adjacent, smoke shops, supplements, functional beverages) strongly preferred.

• Strong route management, merchandising, and account servicing skills

• Clean driving record and ability to operate delivery vehicles, if applicable

• Physical stamina and attention to detail in repetitive, field-based tasks

Compensation & Incentives

• Discretionary quarterly bonus structure

• 401(k) with 100% match on the first 2%, 50% match on the next 4%

Compensation & Structure

• Starting Total Compensation: $72,000

• We provide a six-month guaranteed earnings cushion during training ($72k annualized), after which compensation transitions to performance-based ($48k base + uncapped commissions).

• Commission: $10 per case (12-pack format) — uncapped earnings potential based on performance.

• Car Allowance: $500/month provided for business-related travel.

This structure is intentionally designed to give new hires time to learn the territory, build customer relationships, and gain product confidence before transitioning into a fully performance-based compensation model.
