Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage modern cloud platforms across multiple environments. This role is integral to building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native solutions using the latest technologies in infrastructure automation and container orchestration. As a member of an empowered and adaptive team, you will contribute to shaping resilient cloud systems that align with Zero Trust principles and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-native and multi-cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for automated provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud environments.
- Develop and support Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications to ensure scalability and fault tolerance.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve system resilience, uptime, and performance.
- Implement and maintain Zero Trust Architecture to strengthen cloud security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system design, operational efficiency, and deployment pipelines.
- Monitor and optimize performance of cloud environments to achieve cost efficiency and operational excellence.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in Cloud, DevOps, and Containerization, applying best practices to improve platform reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in cloud platform engineering (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration systems.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and cloud security best practices.
- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering concepts such as observability, automation, and service-level management.
- Proficiency in scripting or automation languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Ability to work collaboratively within Agile or DevOps teams.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions.
