Job Overview

Job Summary:

Ensure timely and accurate research for special projects, help create Standard Operating Procedures and Policies for all departments, communicate with team members and department managers about project goals and expectations. Produce and implement internal company doctrine. Perform related duties and perform research as assigned by supervisor. Assist in compiling data, reports and regulatory programs for Safety Officer. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

 

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal departments and management
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe or other graphic design applications preferred
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary support
  • Ability to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Ability to complete tasks with limited support, supervision and oversight.
  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully within regulatory and statutory standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Job requires siting, standing, and walking.
  • Possess interpersonal communication & organization skills.
  • Be a motivated learner & active listener.
  • Examine technical documentation to support the generation of SOPs, training material, & company programs.
  • Schedule time to meet with personnel from various departments.
  • Take thorough notes.
  • Work with a high attention to detail, work independently & troubleshoot minor issues via online research & critical thinking.

 

Education:

 

      High school diploma and 3-5 years of previous work experience.

      Associate degree, or higher, preferred.
