Job Summary:
The Purchasing Clerk will handle most General and Administrative purchases along with requests for services. These may be done through issuance of purchase orders or credit card purchases.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Act as Liaison with Sales Department, responding to questions and requests
- Maintain purchasing in-box daily.
- Respond to vendor requests and inquiries
- Forward request or information to additional party if needed
- Forward invoices to AP
- Process purchase requests that show up via e-mail that are not related to manufactured items. This includes supplies, I/T, Amazon, etc.
- Assist with Warranty returns.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to multi-task as needed.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years related experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
