Rebuild Harness Tech

Job Summary: The rebuilding of motor & operator harnesses

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Repairs & make new harnesses
• Keeping work area clean & organized
• Helping Supervisors with inventory of new parts
• Troubleshoot problems with gearboxes & motors
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Solder / Desolder Experience is preferred
• Ability to repetitively use small hand tools
• Measure, cut, & strip wire to meet OEM specs
• Crimp all connectors necessary for harnesses & locks
• Maintain inventory count to keep sufficient supplies on hand at all times
• Mechanical skills (auto, diesel, electric motors)

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a workbench

Must be able to lift 40 pounds
