Solids Control Field Specialist

DWM Consulting, LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Solids Control Field Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Energy sector. As a Solids Control Field Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing solids control systems at various field locations in East Texas/NW Louisiana & West Texas, ensuring the efficient treatment and management of drilling fluids. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining solids control equipment to optimize wellbore conditions and enhance drilling performance. This position demands a proactive individual with a strong technical understanding of solids control technologies and procedures, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain solids control equipment on-site.
• Monitor drilling fluid properties and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on solids control systems.
• Coordinate with drilling personnel to optimize mud program and solids control processes.
• Document daily operations and provide detailed reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards during operations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of solid control separation techniques; dewatering, closed loop systems and dryer experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in remote location and adapt to changing field conditions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations in the oil and gas industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
