Engineer, Production Team

Job Overview

Production Engineer is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations by supporting equipment maintenance, troubleshooting process issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. This role plays a key part in optimizing production performance, minimizing downtime, and maintaining safe operating conditions.

Job Description

• Carry out preparation for equipment maintenance and preparation for plant operation after maintenance.

• To advise field staff on operation of field equipment to adjust plant operation conditions and preparation of daily operating/patrol report.

• Address the problems on operation condition according to troubleshooting procedure.

• To communicate with DCS staff and other staff for prevention of troubles across the entire plant.

• To guide field staff on filed operations associate with scheduled start up and shut down.

• Troubleshoots equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical).

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, having experience in polysilicon-related manufacturing processes in advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Read, speak, write in English, Bahasa Malaysia.
