We are looking for a Junior Fund Accounting Associate to support fund valuation, reporting and reconciliation activities within a global asset servicing environment. This role offers exposure to hedge funds, private equity structures and institutional investment vehicles.
Ideal for candidates with accounting foundations looking to transition into investment operations.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparation of daily/weekly/monthly NAV calculations
Perform cash, position, and bank reconciliations
Review income accruals, expenses, and corporate actions
Investigate and resolve valuation discrepancies
Support financial statement preparation for funds
Coordinate with custodians, administrators, and internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks
Requirements
0-2 years of experience in accounting (can include internships).
Understanding of financial statements and balance sheet mechanics
Strong Excel proficiency
Analytical mindset and high numerical accuracy
Finance, Accounting, or Economics degree
Permanent authorization to work in the US.
